Working with Wellington City Council for another outstanding result. A major arterial route for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, all aspects of the Victoria Street upgrade required careful consideration. Redesigning and manufacturing a series of waste bins to ease pedestrian traffic were only a portion of our contribution. Bespoke seating items, finished with two pot epoxy and anti-graffiti clear coat were supplied, along with Wellington City Council cycle racking systems.
Collaborating with architects, designers and project companies is something we do with ease. A revamp of New Zealand Post’s Petone private box gallery required collaborative input from all stakeholders involved in this project. Our expertise in the cutting, punching and folding of metal products assisted with the initial design and manufacture of the decorative structures, but we also advised on finishes and other installation aspects to ensure project milestones were met.
A.E. Tilley Ltd is one of New Zealand’s leading metal punching companies. Perforated screening, such as these, located at Five Mile Shopping Centre in Queenstown, is achieved through one of our four CNC Turret Presses. Indexed tooling stations allow precision punching, superior quality and the perforation of various metals.

Challenged with a brief that required robustness, capacity and good looks to enhance and endure a high volume public area, the Omos S16 Recycling Centre fitted the bill in every aspect. Designed in Ireland, but manufactured under licence here in New Zealand, these fabulous recycling centres bring refreshing style and value to a market clogged with imitators. It’s always rewarding to participate in a project that has so much meaning to a city and pays homage to our national identity. Working with Wraight & Associates and LT McGuinness on the Wellington Cenotaph Precinct was a gratifying experience. We collaborated with the talented folk of Wraight & Associates on a modified version of the Wellington City Council Eddy Seat, adding value to the design and complementing the immediate environment. Scheduling the manufacture of these items with LT McGuinness Construction Ltd, to ensure the project deadline was met.

High end project work is always satisfying.
